Chart notes
KING CURLIN rated at the rear moving out to the two path into the backstretch, progressed in the four to five path nearing the lane, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied to bid outside of the leader in the final furlong, gradually edged past in the final sixteenth then held from an outer challenger at the wire. CALLER laid off of the pace along the inside leaving the first turn, paused behind traffic turning for home, swung out to the six path into the lane, rallied moving out to the seven path in the final furlong, ranged up to bid outside of the new leader in the closing stages but missed. BALTIMORE HEART settled off of the pace in the two to three path, launched swift early progress in the four path and outside of rivals passing the half mile pole, bid outside of the top pair nearing the three furlong pole, forged an advantage while still in hand with a quarter mile to go, was set down in the four path in upper stretch, but got collared by an outer rival in the final furlong and yielded late. DOUBLE NEAT stalked along the inside, bided time from the pocket around the far turn, encountered traffic while spinning to the two to three path reaching the lane, moved three wide and between rivals to take aim inside of the leader in upper stretch, but lacked progress thereafter and held fourth. BROWN LIQUOR MAN tracked from the two to three path, tipped to the five path to take aim from within striking range entering upper stretch, but got outkicked by an outer rival at the furlong grounds and chased evenly between horses. RAISING KANE pursued from midpack two wide, was blocked behind rivals whlie pursuing in the three to four path into the lane, then ran on mildly among foes. DBOOK showed the way along the inside, vied with a pair of outer bidders into and around the far turn, got headed at the quarter pole and gave way. TWO BEERS BY TEN pursued from midpack along the inside, but was blocked behind traffic while moving out in upper stretch and lacked a bid. TRULY LEGIT pressed two wide, bid along with an outer rival into the far turn, vied between horses turning for home then weakened in upper stretch.
