Chart notes
LOUISIANA BOSS came away in the middle of the pack, became boxed in through the turn, then found a seam three wide turning for home, responded when set down, and edged clear. GABBYS BLING allowed to settle from the break, dropped down to the rail before the turn, saved ground through that turn, then tipped out to the three path in upper stretch and finished up well to gain second. GIRLIE'S MAX chased close up four to five wide down the backstretch, bid from the three-furlong pole under a drive, was six wide into the stretch, put in a good finish, and won the race for the third prize. CUSTOM CADILLAC was last away then bid seven-wide into the stretch and finished up with some energy to improve. HUDSON'S DAY was briefly close up, then steadily retreated to the back, bid six wide into the stretch, and managed to pass a few tired ones. MY CHULUPA pressed the early pace three-wide, was fanned five-wide at the top of the stretch and flattened out late. HALF GUILTY was away well, moved up to challenge for the lead, put a head in front passing the five furlong pole, was under constant pressure from a pair of rivals to the outside with the rest in close pursuit, had a short lead turning for home, and gave way. REGAL TEMPLE broke on top then battled between horses through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, then was first to weaken with a furlong to run.
