Chart notes
I BE GONE stalked from outside three to five wide moving closer to press the issue into and on the turn, kept on in the stretch, took the lead a sixteenth out and edged clear. LAST GASP broke sharply and was quickly clear, set the pace from off the rail, was hounded from outside by the eventual winner, overtaken by that one near the sixteenth pole but was second best. CRAZY DIXIE was forwardly-placed inside chasing the leading pair, dropped back a bit early on the turn, kept on and was clearly best of the rest. SONG OF VICTORY got away slowly, was well-back early, swung six wide and improved. DANCIN' MOLLY chased from outside mid-pack in the four to five path through the turn, came into upper stretch eight deep, failed to rally. MAYLEN was off the pace inside and never near enough to threaten. LITTLE SASSER was a bit fractious in the gate, settled off the pace, saved some ground near the inside, weakened.
