Chart notes
ROYAL POPPY pressed the early pace, took command nearing the quarter marker, drew off in the stretch and was ridden out as much the best. ST. OLAF ROSE tracked the early pace, chased two wide to upper stretch, was no match for ROYAL POPPY and was second best. SINGING SANDRA settled early, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, was no match for the top pair and held for third. SEA ART settled early on, angled three to four wide to upper stretch and lacked a late kick. R FIREBIRD settled while never far back early, saved ground to the quarter marker then could not muster a response and tired in the stretch. SMART JENNY chased the early pace, lost position into the turn, gave way. LITA sent, set pressured early pace, was overtaken into the turn and faltered in the stretch.
