Chart notes
ITS TIME TO SHINE had the early lead but was soon overtaken, pressed up the backstretch from the inside, retook the lead about the three-eighths, edged clear turning into upper stretch, was all out late and just lasted. JUNIOR HOT SHOT stalked from between runners in the second flight, went three to four wide on the turn, drifted out through mid- to late-stretch making a steady bid and just missed. LIGHT THE LAMP tracked up close inside, came out three wide in upper stretch with aim, ran on evenly to secure show honors. LAST AMERICAN EXIT stalked from outside the second flight, was put to urging past the five-sixteenths, fanned out five to six wide coming into upper stretch, kept on to get the nod for fourth. HUNT MASTER settled off the pace inside, came out five wide in upper stretch, kept on but needed more. NO MORE OPTIONS was outpaced early, moved out from four to six wide on the turn, came into upper stretch eight deep, failed to menace. PERFECT CRIME was slow to gather and lacking speed, took closer order between foes up the backstretch, shifted seven wide into upper stretch, made no bid. MAAKWA moved to the lead forcing the pace from outside two to three wide, gave way in the stretch and faded. ONE TRUE GENTLEMAN dropped back outside to trail the field into the turn about five wide, floated eight wide into upper stretch, failed to threaten.
