DADDY YANKEE was prominent between foes in the early going, exchanged brushes and was shuffled back about the nine-sixteenths off the leaders stalking in behind into the turn, moved out coming into upper stretch five to six wide and in good stride, lugged in just a path or so in upper stretch, took charge at the furlong marker, drove clear shaken up just once and was ridden out in a gallop through the final sixteenth. HAPPYFLYER contended inside, moved clear by the half, led them through the turn into upper stretch coming off the rail a bit, was overtaken in mid-stretch and no match for the winner but got the nod for place. HASTEN was in tight just after the break, settled near the back inside, shifted seven to eight wide coming into upper stretch, gained late between foes but missed second. REPEATINGOFCOURSE broke a bit awkwardly, settled at the rear off the rail, fanned eight to nine wide into upper stretch, gained late from outside but was not enough. PAEZ pursued from outside going four to five wide on the turn, was lightly brushed in upper stretch, ran on but was no match for the top ones. GENERAL MAXIMUS chased from between runners going two to three wide on the turn, was vanned off. SACKETT chased from between then inside, exchanged minor contact late up the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, failed to rally inside. AWESOME FANTASY vied between runners early, chased three to four wide on the turn, came out a bit in upper stretch brushing a rival, weakened. PEPPERONIKID was in a bit tight at the start, gave brief chase from between foes but checked back about the five-eighths, had no late bid.
