Chart notes
STARRY NIGHT stalked from outside three wide applying some further pressure up the backstretch, was ridden along by the three-eighths having lost ground on the leader, after a long drive kept on to take command in mid-stretch, kicked clear and held under steady handling. SUTTON SUZIE switched out off the rail entering the first turn, stalked from between foes in the second flight two to three wide, shifted seven wide turning into upper stretch, kept on late to secure the place. SOUPER ROLL soon led, dictated terms from off the fence, shook clear of pursuers coming to the three-eighths, was put to stout urging by upper stretch, was overtaken in mid-stretch, lacked the needed late kick but had enough to fight for show. LYRIC STREET shifted in entering the first turn, tracked from inside saving ground, made a brief mild bid in upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick and was outfinished for show. HYSTERICS eased back tucking in behind the leading group under some rating tactics, came out five to six wide for the drive, kicked on mildly. EYES ON ITALY broke a step slowly, unhurriedly brought up the rear from just off the inside, made no impact. HIT SONG stalked from outside mid-pack three to four wide early then going four to five deep through the far turn and under urging by the three-eighths, faded in the lane.
