Chart notes
POLTERER took over between runners entering the first turn then cleared, secured the inside and set a rated pace, handled outer pressure past the five eighths and into the far turn, shook clear leaving the five sixteenths, responded to firm asking two wide in upper stretch, opened up with a furlong remaining and held firm while kept to task. HANDSOFFTHEGOODS , between rivals and forwardly placed nearing the backstretch, drafted back a bit nearing the five eighths then chased inside a rival, shifted out four wide for the drive, made a grinding run and got up for the place through the final yards. LAVENDER EARL , inside foes into the first turn, checked sharply off heels leaving the seven eighths then eased out to prompt outside the winner, could not quite keep pace entering the lane, stayed on with willing pursuit past mid stretch, drifted in late and came up empty. SLAVA UKRAINI , four wide into the backstretch, dropped inside leaving the far turn, raced on the left lead in mid stretch and lacked the needed finish. RICKY BOBBY steadied soon after the break, lost ground four to five wide and failed to get involved. ROTARY DIAL , four wide outside rivals approaching the backstretch, chased wide into the far turn and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
