Chart notes
VALE took over the lead soon after the start and set the pace up the backstretch, held clear still unleashed around the turn, saved ground turning for home, roused for more at the head of the lane, responded gamely, held off the bid from I GOT NO MUNNY down the lane and kept clear. I GOT NO MUNNY was forwardly placed and raced just off VALE up the backstretch, given cue to go near the quarter pole, continued two wide in striking distance down the lane, failed to reach the winner and had to settle for clearly second best. CIRCLE BACK JACK raced in the last flight in early stages, hustled along three to four wide into the upper stretch and gained a share. BIYOMBO tracked the early leader, came under a ride near the quarter pole, failed to kick on and lost show late. GREY STORM raced off the top trio, hustled along two wide around the turn, stayed two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. FLIPPING FISH raced in the last flight, had no response when called upon and faded. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
