JOURNEYMAN tracked the pacesetter three deep into the first turn, took closer order on the outside to hound the leader by the half, was repelled while scrubbed on to keep up at the five sixteenths pole by the frontrunner, never wavered three wide between foes with his relentless pursuit down the stretch and got up in the final few strides while being pushed out coming to the finish line. SOCIETY'S THUNDER assumed command going into the first turn, was hounded outside by the eventual winner at the half, pulled away for a clear advantage again at the five sixteenths pole, had control moving well in the two path turning for home, heard hoof steps bearing down outside with an eighth to run, drifted out under left handed encouragement late but could not fend off the tenacious winner at the wire. WYOMING BILL was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field in the early parts of this two turn race, began to reach for more ground mounting a rally going by a runner outside at the quarter pole, was in full flight six wide having a clear path at the top of the stretch, was moving the quickest down the lane but just could not get to the front pair by the time they crossed the finish line. TIZ ROMANTIC was nestled on the rail just behind the leader on the first bend, settled into a good rhythm in the second flight having the rail along the backside, was asked for more inside foes at the quarter pole to be in the conversation on the fence straightening out for home but was one paced inside horses in the final furlong to settle on the fringes in the end. LOST ARK travelled five wide entering the first turn, improved outside to sit in mid-pack at the half, had little movement in the third pairing around the last bend, shifted out five wide between horses for the drive and ran on mildly in the last eighth of a mile making little impact at the wire. EVER DANGEROUS tracked the leader with runners on both sides in the early going, watched the front pair while outside another foe down the back straight, moved in closer shifting out three wide at the quarter marker to loom a threat outside in the four path in upper stretch, could not kick on with others and wilted by the furlong pole. COZY CURLIN KITTEN stalked close to the back of the pack in the initial turn, made no progression ahead of only one rival along the backside, was passed outside to be at the rear with a quarter mile from home and failed to fire in the three path between horses in upper stretch. OCEAN ATLANTIQUE settled near the rear in the two path inside another in the early stages, travelled on the fence in mid-division along the backside, was scrubbed on the rail but could not get involved running around the far turn and emptied out in the two path by the sixteenth pole.
