Chart notes
BORRACHO took the early lead on the inside, drifted out slightly at the top of the stretch but was still able to kick clear. RUNYONESQUE rated between foes, made an inside bid in the far turn to improve for the place award. DON'T WAIT UP settled back to trail early, gained position along the outside of the turn to rally in the stretch for show. BACKNTHEWOODS rated in the three path, made no bid, failed to menace. MAGIC SPIN raced off the pace on the inside, trailed through the turn to angle towards the outside of the stretch to pass tired foes. SWIFTY DEVIL pressed the pace from the two path, retreated at the three sixteenths. LITTLE LANCE rated on the inside, retreated at the five sixteenths.
