Chart notes
SMOOTH CLARET well placed inside to the second turn, angled three wide at the quarter marker, dueled through the stretch and determinedly prevailed. LET'S DANCE AGAIN attended to the pace to the second turn, met bid upper, dueled, gamely bested and well clear of the rest for second. ROGERS PARK set pace to second turn, overtaken to upper stretch, was no match for the top pair and was a clear third. NEBLINA lunged start, bid three to four wide second turn, weakened drive. DIXIE ESCAPE settled outside, chased three wide second turn, gave way stretch. ANACAPRI unhurried, inside to two wide to second turn, no factor. FAR ABOVE close up to first turn, tracked outside to half-mile marker then came up empty.
