BALANTYNE tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, charged to the front near the furlong marker and pulled away under urging. ENGLISH PAINTER raced off the pace inside, chased three wide entering the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, rallied outside and finished well for the place spot. BRYCE CANYON broke awkwardly, was outrun early, moved up at the quarter pole and rallied mildly on the rail in the stretch. FENWICK JACK was reluctant to load, then steadied after the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, chased four wide entering the far turn, came six wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. JADES JAY was bumped at the start, pulled in the early stages while setting the pace, dueled past the quarter pole and weakened. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH stalked between rivals, chased on the far turn and tired. ADMIRAL'S WAVE was bumped at the start, stalked three wide, bid two wide on the far turn, dueled, came wide into the stretch and faded.
