Chart notes
T. L. COPPER STILL , rank leaving the starting gate, saved ground on the turn, eased outside in upper stretch, took command near the sixteenth pole and drovve clear. FLYIN RYAN bobbled slightly leaving the starting gate, chased the pace, eased out to the three path leaving the turn and had a slight rally. WARRING THUNDER , kept in the two path on the turn, opened up approaching the stretch, held the lead to mid stretch and weakened late. BONAFIDE , four wide leaving the backstretch, was taken to the two path entering the stretch and passed a tired rival. FRANKIE'S BOY , five deep leaving the backstretch, remained on the turn and lacked a rally. DU MONDE chased the pace from the three path, drifted four wide leaving the turn and gave way.
