Chart notes
TRIUMPHANT ROAD allowed to settle, loomed three wide into the far turn, battled into the stretch, took a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, dug in in the final strides and held well to prevail. MR BRIZEL rated off early pace, vied between foes to upper stretch, fought on into the final sixteenth, was gamely bested and was clear for second. SIR ASCOT ceded the early lead, vied inside of foes to upper stretch, outfinished in deep stretch, held third. STONE COLD FLEX settled inside, angled out upper stretch, was gaining late but could not reel in the leaders in the final stages. WILL OF A WARRIOR settled early, gain three to four wide to stretch, flattened out. CALVINO close up early on, well placed inside, chased to the furlong grounds, no late kick. LEGAL MANEUVER unhurried to backstretch, saved ground to far turn, no rally. PAXTON allowed to settle, coaxed four to five wide upper, no response. NOBLE STAR made pace to second turn, gave way into the second turn, eased stretch, walked off.
