CAN I GET AWITNESS took up stalking position two deep down the backside, confidently handled leaving the quarter pole, slowly inched up outside GOLDEN GIRL LENA nearing the furlong marker, wore that one down inside the sixteenth marker, kicked away through the wire. GOLDEN GIRL LENA broke very sharp, set the pace along the rail into the far turn, collared by outside rival leaving the furlong marker, no match for that one late, chased on well bested the rest. SAFFRON settled off the pace between runners down the backside, steady progress four deep around the far turn, chased on willingly to secure the show money. DEE DEE SIX tracked the top pair three wide into the far turn, under urging inside turning for home, had no late punch. KATAKANA saved ground mid pack into the far turn, hard ask leaving the quarter pole, came up empty late. JUST A RAINBOW sluggish out of the gate, pressed hard leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the lane. PAPERBACK EDITION hit gate stumbled at the start, unable to recover trailed throughout.
