Chart notes
TIGER FOREVER set the pace on the inside, shook free nearing the quarter pole, pulled away and was ridden out. LITTLE SQUEEZE stalked close up two wide, bid between rivals on the far turn, dug in through the lane and earned the place spot. HIPATIA raced four wide early, stalked three wide, bid three wide on the far turn and was outfinished for second. SPANISH GIRL raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. PROFIT HUNTER tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and tired. ME SO LUCKY refused at the gate, then walked off. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the start, the race was declared official.
