KOSARI vied between rivals for the early lead, continued to battle outside of SALTHAWK into the turn, shook free past the quarter pole, came two wide into the lane, widened advantage under right handed pressure and held late. SALTHAWK vied for the lead from the onset, battled inside of KOSARI into the turn, could not match strides past the quarter pole, tipped two wide for the drive and came back on late. WILLIAMS EMPIRE vied briefly then edged back and tracked the top flight, ran on two to three down the lane and secured show, was transported via equine ambulance after the race. TEN DAYS LATER raced in the back, saved ground around the turn, angled two wide for the drive and lacked a rally. HASTY FLYER vied for the lead up the backstretch, could not match strides mid-way around the turn and faded in the lane.
