Chart notes
SPUN AROUND stalked close up from outside three wide, bid past the quarter pole, was put to urging at the top of the stretch, found a resilient competitor inside but edged away late. MCKENZIE ROAD got away alertly, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, was shadowed by a foe up the backstretch then received further pressure, was overtaken by the top of the stretch, fought on till late then yielded grudgingly but just saved the place. STARSHIP SERENITY tucked in settling toward the rear inside early, switched out up the backstretch, was relegated to the rear heading into the far turn, went three then four wide on that bend coming out a bit further for the drive, navigated traffic in the stretch moving in then out to gain show and just missed the place. TOP OF D MOUNTAIN shifted in early, was forwardly-positioned saving ground tracking inside, moved out midway on the far turn coming into upper stretch six to seven deep, needed more. SERENADING KITTEN gained early forward position outside, stalked three to four wide, advanced starting from the three-eighths, was closer coming past the quarter pole, lacked the needed late kick ni the stretch. MIA MITOLE settled off the pace mid-division inside saving ground, was under urging three furlongs out, began to shift out shortly after, came to the quarter pole five wide, was carried seven to eight wide into upper stretch and ran on without threatening. NICKI IS A BREEZE settled between foes three wide early, switched out up the backstretch racing wide four to five deep and toward the back, failed to rally. MISS BOUJEE broke awkwardly and was taken up soon after, settled off the pace, made a mild advance inside coming into upper stretch, moved out a bit at that juncture but was soon forced in near mid-stretch, flattened out thereafter. SERIOUS LADY moved to mid-pack, stalked two to three wide, faded. TALLAWAH stumbled at the start, was caught four wide through the first turn, shifted in a bit on the far turn, failed to menace.
