HALO RANDO tracked four deep on the backstretch, went five wide into the turn, bid three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared with a quarter mile remaining, kicked away in upper stretch, got run down at the sixteenth pole and held second. WEGONAHAVAGOODTIME chased four wide into the turn, exited the bend five deep, finished determinedly in the lane and missed second. SLEW'S JOY chased between rivals in range then dropped off the pace, climbed at the three-eighths pole and fell back to last, went five wide into the lane, closed well in the drive but could not threaten the top trio. MITICO stalked two wide leaving the backstretch, chased three deep turning for home and lacked the needed response. IN SUSPENSE stalked along the fence into the turn, got blocked behind STAN FROM MALIBU from the five-sixteenths pole to the sixteenth pole and was too late to rally once in the clear. DEVIL BE ME sat off the pace on the inside, moved to the two path around the bend, steered out further in the lane and lacked a rally. STAN FROM MALIBU dueled from inside, chased after the new leader at the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. CAROL'S COMIC got bumped back from inside, trailed early off the rail, had one rival beat into the turn, went four wide into the lane and never threatened. GOLDENSUNRISE broke out and bumped CAROL'S COMIC, fought for the lead from outside up the backstretch and on the turn, yielded to the new leader and chased two wide past the quarter pole, then weakened in the drive. MORELLO bumped leaving the gate, coaxed along three deep between then off the rail, trailed into the turn, angled to the inside, had two beat turning for home, moved out in the lane and lacked further response. TIZZ A GOOD THING bumped with MORELLO at the start, chased from off the pace, took the turn two to three wide, angled out and could not rally.
