LOVE APPEALS stalked two wide, moved up midway on the turn, angled out for the drive, rallied three wide past midstretch, kicked in willingly, charged to the front past the sixteenth marker and drew clear for the win. GREAT VENEZUELA was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, advanced two wide on the turn, rallied four wide in the stretch run and finished well outside for second. DRIFAROS tracked on the inside, chased inside on the turn, rallied late on the rail and got third. ETRURIAN cleared the field leaving the chute, set the pace on the inside, dueled on the turn, responded when roused, dug in gamely in the stretch run and weakened late. ALLA BREVE was off slowly, raced off the pace inside, angled out for the drive and rallied mildly outside. QUIET CONFIDENCE pressed the pace racing close up two wide, bid on the turn, dueled to midstretch and was outfinished.
