Chart notes
CHUNK OF GOLD away alertly set the pace holding daylight through the far turn drawing off in upper stretch holding firm from the eighth pole. MCAFEE stalked the pace chasing on the far turn saving ground to upper stretch giving a late move along the inside to salvage place. BROTHA KENY went evenly through the far turn racing four wide down the lane gaining a spot with a mild late bid. JUST A FAIR SHAKE stalked the pace looming through the far turn being dispatched by the winner in upper stretch weakening late. EAST AVENUE veered in at the break, was coaxed hard from the half mile pole coming under a drive on the far turn giving little response under asking. EXTRADITION was never involved. GONE BOY hustled along from the inside early would stop abruptly into the far turn. BRERETON'S BAYTOWN was severely injured past the eighth pole and was pulled up leaving in the equine ambulance.
