Chart notes
FLASHFORDANI stalked the pace while three wide, pressed the issue nearing the quarter pole, battled in between foes entering the stretch, dueled outside of SMART PLAY, and narrowly prevailed after a multi-horse scramble to the wire. SMART PLAY vied for the early lead, responded gamely to the outside challengers near the quarter pole, dueled inside of FLASHFORDANI, and lost the nod. HYPERFOCUS fanned four wide into the opening turn, drove up four wide at the quarter pole to challenge the lead, dug in the final yards and missed after a determined effort. GHOSTLY SPITFIRE trailed the field, swung out in the final turn, angled inside midstretch and finished well. RIVERSIDE stalked from the rail, and flattened out. GABBYSONHOLIDAY lacked a bid.
