Chart notes
MIA AND ME stalked the early leader, was a factor on the turn and from the four path at the top of the stretch drew clear. PAPERBACK HERO was unhurried early and gained ground on the turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch was no match for the winner. BILL NEEDLE was off the pace, trailed the field on the turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch was up for show. MR. MARSHALL was in touch and roused from between foes on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch needed more. TOLD IT ALL was hustled early but chased from the inside on the turn and had no kick. FOREST FLASH set the pace and had a clear lead on the turn but had nothing left. BLAME J D was in range and saved ground on the turn but failed to fire.
