Chart notes
GLENGARRY broke sharp, quickly cleared the lead and angled in two wide, led the way under pressure from DOCTOR OSCAR up the backstretch and into the turn, edged away still in hand near the quarter pole, came two wide into the upper stretch, shook the reins and shown the whip, responded willingly, pulled away under a strong hand ride and finished in hand. HOLA JOEY stumbled at the start but still managed to be forwardly placed, stalked the top pair up the backstretch, continued in contention around the turn, given cue along the rail at the head of the lane, ran on with response but was no match for the winner and settled for second best. DIAMOND RIM was unhurried and raced in the back, swung four wide into the upper stretch and prevailed for a share. DOCTOR OSCAR applied pace pressure to GLENGARRY up the backstretch and into the turn, could not remain in touch with rival approaching the quarter pole, ran on three wide into the upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong.
