Chart notes
SPRING MOUNTAIN was in touch, had the lead on the far turn and from the four path at the top of the stretch fought gamely for the win. STRONG ENDING was in range, hustled along on the far turn and had a bid from the six path through the stretch but just missed. REDOUTE'S LIGHT was well back, closed the gap on the far turn and from the eight path at the top of the stretch was up for show. SANTIAGO SALSA was off the pace and moved up on the far turn but from the seven path at the top of the stretch leveled off. PALACE PRINCE was up close and forced the pace on the far turn but weakened through the stretch. FASCINATION STREET set the early pace but lost ground on the far turn and was empty. M C JACKHAMMER stalked the early leaders from the inside but chased on the far turn and dropped back through the stretch.
