PERPETUAL PATIENCE tracked the dueling leaders three wide into the turn, full of energy five wide leaving the furlong marker, rallied clear through the final stages. BAYOULAND RED sent start, dueled inside around the turn and through the stretch, shook loose from outside rival late, chased on well no match for late closer. NORTH OF RICHMOND pressed the pace into the turn, took up the duel two deep into the lane, battled on through the final sixteenth, finished willingly for the show. CLEARLY ARTEMUS hard bump shuffled back at the start, slowly advanced four wide to the turn, circled the field into the lane, evened out through the final sixteenth after a rough start. BAYOUSUMCRAWFISH lacked speed to turn, under pressure inside leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch. MEDIATOR broke slow, trailer around the bend, never factored late.
