Chart notes
GOLDEN HEART set the early pace while well in hand, edged clear on the turn and was unchallenged in the lane. LA TOURISTA tracked the leaders from three wide through the turn, rallied turning for home while floated out by rival, angled inside drifting foe in the lane to surge late for the place. RUNAWAY BREEZE raced along the inside in striking distance through the turn, cut the corner turning for home, mounted a good rail rally in the stretch and was nailed on the wire for the place. CARLOTUK was well placed stalking the pace from the fence on the turn, angled out to the clear four wide at the head of the stretch, rallied to prominence in upper stretch while drifting out and wandered about inside the eighth pole drifting back in late. WILD LOOKER was not a threat. LIGHT HEARTED prompted the pace to the turn, could not match strides with the winner on the bend and drifted wide turning for home while tiring.
