Chart notes
SNOWNAME set the pace immediately from the gate opened a comfortable lead through the turn and was unchallenged coming home. STATESBORO stalked the pacesetter through the turn, rallied when called upon leaving the quarter pole, could not gain on the winner and finished well to hold the place. KOTYLOS broke outward carrying rival wide away from the gate, raced at the back of the pack, held up into the turn off heels, commenced a steady rally on the bend and was gaining late. GOOSE HUNTER rated in mid-pack down the backstretch, dropped to the rear of the field on the bend and passed weaker rivals in the lane. SANPIRODU slow early, raced up to contention on the turn and flattened out in the stretch. JEWELS IN THE BAY shied out at the start racing away from inside rival, rushed up to prompt the pace down the backside and gave way coming home. THE RIDER OF GOOSE HUNTER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST KOTYLOS FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
