Chart notes
WORTHY OPPONENT always within striking distance, rallied three wide through the turn and into the stretch to make the lead nearing the furlong marker and proved best under left handed urging. SPIRIT OF AKRON dueled for the lead along the inside into the turn, gained the advantage, set the pace until mid stretch then couldn't handle the winner. SPIN DOCTOR never far back, had a mild late rally four wide. WILDCAT BILL went evenly. OAKS HONEY was no threat. OAKEN failed to menace. GIV'EM THE BIZ was hustled along, battled for the lead three then two wide through the turn, kept on past the furlong marker then gave way.
