Chart notes
NEPHELE was reserved off the pace while saving ground, angled out to be three-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished strongly to be up in the final sixteenth. BELLA CIAO CIAO saved ground setting the pace under pressure from COCONUT DREAMS, shook that one off to open a clear lead nearing the eighth pole but was unable to resist the winner late in a game try. COCONUT DREAMS prompted the pace to the stretch and held on well during the drive for the show. MAPPEMONDE raced in the middle of the pace, came two-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. ABOVE THE ORDINARY broke out to bump ELUSIVITY then was allowed to settle while racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally when asked. LETSGETTHEREFIRST settled in the back of the field racing three-wide and failed to threaten. ELUSIVITY was bumped at the start by ABOVE THE ORDINARY then was unhurried racing two-wide and was not a factor. PER RULING ECM2025-224 FROM THE HORSERACING INTEGRITY AND WELFARE UNIT, NEPHELE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
