EMPIRE SKY bumped at the start, raced off the pace, advanced three wide on the turn, closed willingly outside rivals in upper stretch, charged to the front, drew off and was ridden out. K PAZ bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, angled out in the stretch and rallied outside for second. LUCKY TWIST vied three wide for the early lead, chased on the turn, dug in through the stretch run and held for third. BRODERICK was outrun early, advanced at the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane and gained mildly outside. MALIBLUE vied inside for the lead, shook free on the turn, dug in and weakened in the final furlong. GUNNERY SERGEANT vied between rivals for the early lead, chased on the turn and weakened on the rail in the stretch.
