Chart notes
ROLANDO was away alertly to set the pace while clear and off the inside, four wide entering the turn and moved to the two path by the seven sixteenths, came three wide off the bend by the quarter pole and drew off under hand urging, rider took a peak back and saw no challengers and was kept to hand urging to the wire to prove much the best in a new track record. BARBADIAN RUNNER had an outside pursuit early, then settled and was three to five wide on the turn, came six wide off the turn by the quarter pole and finished well to be clearly second best. LURED AWAY was void of early speed and saved ground on the turn, cut the corner while advancing but lacked a late kick while besting the rest. OPTICAL was reserved early and advanced four wide by the five sixteenths and came seven wide off the bend and improved late. FLOOD ZONE tracked the winner while four to three wide on the turn and came four wide off the bend and weakened. LA HOULIGAN was reserved early, advanced four to five wide on the turn but weakened. ROAR OF THE BEAST tracked the early pace from between rivals, then moved to the inside on the turn and weakened. START MO UP was well placed inside and fell back on the turn and stopped.
