Chart notes
COASTAL JOURNEY was brushed a the start by GLOBAL AGENDA then saved ground setting the pace under pressure from LITTLE MINNIE MO, opened a clear lead nearing the eighth pole and maintained a safe advantage. SOMBRERO NEGRO was forwardly placed racing two-wide, dropped back slightly entering the stretch and then was gaining on the winner late. LITTLE MINNIE MO prompted COASTAL JOURNEY to the quarter pole from along the inside and held on well for third. GLOBAL AGENDA broke in to brush with COASTAL JOURNEY then was allowed to settle while saving ground and went evenly. SUBTLE PRINCE raced in the back of the field, came six-wide into the stretch and showed some interest late. RISE UP AND GO saved ground while being unhurried and failed to seriously threaten. JESS IN TIME settled in the middle of the field racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened. MIMI KAI was prominently placed early racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and tired.
