Chart notes
BOLT FORTY FIVE broke alertly and briefly held a clear lead then came under pressure from ANNUAL BUDGET, continued to hold a slight edge into the turn, vied inside going by the quarter pole then shook free turning for home, widened advantage under a strong hand ride and kept to task. ANNUAL BUDGET applied pace pressure to BOLT FORTY FIVE in early stages, vied for the lead late on the turn, could not move on with the eventual winner turning for home but sustained bid and secured place. ABSOLUTE CHAOS raced off the clear trio around the turn, saved ground turning for home, hustled along the inside and prevailed for a share. SPIRIT'S MISCHIEF raced off the pace, swung four wide into the upper stretch, made a mild bid late and narrowly missed show. FREDDY J raced in the back, saved ground, came two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. CALL ME ICE MAN was well placed sitting just off the top pair in early stages, sat poised to strike and given cue near the quarter pole, failed to kick on under firm handling and steadily weakened in the lane.
