Chart notes
WARTIME HERO prompted the pace to midway on the final turn, quickly took command racing five wide turning for home and drew off as much best in hand late. LEA ME BE set the pace under mild pressure for five-eighths, came under full pressure on the turn, could not keep pace with the winner and kept-on as second best. COUSIN LARRY tracked the leaders from between rivals down the backside, rallied on the turn and put in a mild bid to be best of the rest. TIGERS 'N BEARS stalked the pace from the inside to be well placed, came under an early drive on the far turn and failed to respond lacking a closing kick finishing evenly. CLEMENTS RIDE broke a step slow, circled five wide to track the pace and was one-paced failing to mount a closing bid. ONCE UPON A DREAM raced between rivals in early contention, dropped back nearing the half mile pole and was outrun.
