PANCAKE HOUSE settled tracking the leader from just off the inside just off the pace, came under light coaxing nearing the quarter pole, had WALLEY WORLD attempt to nudge his way out and was pushed four wide at the quarter pole before denying the move coming in back to his rightful three path and putting WALLEY WORLD back to the two path in behind SESAME SEED BAGEL where he was, rallied into contention and seized command just inside the eighth pole, edged away briefly before digging in to hold safe to the finish and score. WALLEY WORLD coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside coming under light coaxing near the quarter pole, attempted to lean his way out against PANCAKE HOUSE swinging three wide and nudging that rival briefly four wide before that foe denied the move and pushed him back to the two path straightening away where he belonged, got forced to steady off the heels of SESAME SEED BAGEL with three-sixteenths to go before tipping out behind PANCAKE HOUSE a furlong from home, rallied with good energy to close stoutly to the finish latching on that rival as he hit the wire. COMMON DEFENSE raced just off the inside through the first turn before chasing three wide down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and ran on willingly to secure the show honors. LAUREL VALLEY broke out a step at the start under light coaxing, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught just inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. BE OF COURAGE got bumped at the start by TARAJ and in turn bumped JURISPRUDENCE, who broke inwards and was knocked askew, chased two to three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. WHITE PALOMINO coaxed from the gate, saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, got set down spinning three then two wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then flattened out in the late stages. SESAME SEED BAGEL brushed the near side stall at the start and came under coaxing to be forwardly placed along the inside through the first turn easing off LAUREL VALLEY six and a half furlongs from home to track that rival in closest aim, went three then two wide down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the far turn coming under urging near the quarter pole, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive between foes a furlong out, then weakened in the final furlong. JURISPRUDENCE got bumped at the start by BE OF COURAGE due to pressure from TARAJ, then grew rank under restraint along the inside and was checked off the heels of BE OF COURAGE seven and a half furlongs out, tipped out and went three wide into and through the first turn briefly carrying out TARAJ four wide, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened. TARAJ (IRE) broke in at the start bumping BE OF COURAGE into JURISPRUDENCE, got carried out four wide into the first turn by JURISPRUDENCE, chased four wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, tipped five wide into upper stretch and tired.
