Chart notes
BOBS HONEY was forwardly placed from the start racing four-wide, moved up to take the lead coming to the eighth pole and gradually drew clear. LOTSA KITTY vied for the lead with BELLE OF EDMONDS from along the inside, responded when challenged by BOBS HONEY but was no match for that one but proved to be second best. MORE TROUBLE was reserved of the pace, came five-wide into the stretch and rallied late/. SPARKLEY BARKLEY saved ground tracking the pace but lacked a rally when asked. SCARLETT LETTER was allowed to settle racing three-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. COURTSDREAM prompted the early pace racing three-wide and weakened. O'RAVENNA was off a step slow then unhurried, rallied three-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten. GARY'S ECHO was bumped at the start by BELLE OF EDMONDS then saved ground racing in the back of the field, angled out nearing the eighth pole and was not a factor. BELLE OF EDMONDS broke in to bump GARY'S ECHO then vied for the lead lead racing two-wide and tired. HOT SUMMER BREEZE was four-wide early racing in the middle of the field on the turn, came seven-wide into the stretch and failed to menace.
