Chart notes
KING RUSSELL prompted three to two wide into the backstretch, sustained pressure around the far turn, ran on to continue his bid through the final furlong and edged past the leader late. EL MAGNIFICO brushed an inner rival at the start, led two wide and between horses into the first turn, showed the way only inside of the eventual winner into the backstretch, dug in and gamely clung to an advantage from that one through midstretch but was bested late. UNLOAD prompted along the inside before backing off to stalk around the first turn, pursued two wide and between rivals turning for home, shifted three wide to take aim outside of the embattled top pair entering the lane, but only managed to chase them home willingly. CAROLO RAPIDO was brushed by an outer rival leaving the gate and dropped back at the start, trailed along the inside, improved position into the far turn then sustained pursuit one paced through the lane. IMPERIAL GUN pursued from midpack two wide, crept closer three wide around the far turn, but flattened out once floated four wide into the lane. D'ORO UNBRIDLED raced off of the pace in the three path, trailed in the four path around the far turn and got outrun. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
