Chart notes
MISTER MESEEKS was in range, saved ground on the far turn, raced from the five path at the top of the stretch but angled inside and was up in time. JACK THE CAT was in touch, a factor on the far turn and had the lead from the three path at the top of the stretch but was outgunned. CUPID'S CLAWS was off the pace and gained ground on the far turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch just missed. DRAGON'S BREW was unhurried early and moved up on the far turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch needed more. PRINCE FOR A DAY set the pace and had the lead on the far turn but failed to hold. THELONIOUS showed speed from the inside and was roused on the far turn but had no response. DOT'S VISION stalked the early leaders and had a good position on the far turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch weakened. LULU'S LULLABY was well back, showed nothing and was not a factor. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START LEFT THE RESULTS AS POSTED.
