CUPIDS SWEETY sat off the pace in early stages, picked up the tempo late on the turn, put to a drive four wide at the head of the lane,, steadily advanced along the outside and got up late. PEGGY RULES tracked the top trio into the turn, saved ground entering the stretch run, slipped through along the rail approaching the furlong marker, dug in gamely under firm handling, put a head in front then got edged by winner in final strides. MISS MINGO sped out to the early lead, came under pressure late on the backstretch, dueled around the turn, battled on gamely into deep stretch then yielded late. SORCERER'S GIRL raced up close in opening stages, dueled three deep around the turn, battled on into deep stretch and lacked a closing kick. MORNINGNOONANDNITE raced in the second flight around the turn, came two wide into the upper stretch and failed to move on. KASA raced off the pace, hustled along two to three wide and failed to respond. ANCHORS AND SPURS hustled up out of the gate and through early stages, dueled three wide around the turn then tired in the drive.
