Chart notes
WHISPERING SEA set the pace under mild pressure to the quarter pole, repsonded when challenged in upper stretch, dueled through the lane and prevailed in a determined drive. VICOUNTESS stalked the pace from four wide into the turn, steadily narrowed the gap through the turn, engaged the winner in upper stretch, drew even inside the eighth pole and was denied by the game winner. WHATS GOIN ON tracked the leaders from the fence to be well place, was coaxed midway on the turn to keep pace and lacked a closing kick running on in the lane to be best of the rest. TOOTSIE TOES broke a half step slow to be the trailer in a compact field, raced five wide and was not a threat. GOTHAM GRAY broke well, settled off the leader to prompt the pace and steadily faded to the rear of the field.
