MARQUITOS M trailed early, rallied five wide at the quarter pole, drew off late while being ridden out JOHN FITZGERALD was well placed early, rallied at the top of the stretch, split horses and drew even, was no match late but held place. VECCHI was never far back, rallied in the stretch three wide, drew even in mid stretch and was outfinished late. GRETCHENS MANE MAN chased the speed for a half, then gave way. REDDEN allowed to settle, failed to menace. D J'S FIRST STEP had good early speed, then stopped in the stretch.
