Chart notes
NEON SIGN advanced along the inside of the backstretch before angling out three wide to press the pace in the turn, took command in the stretch and held for the win. BOAT SONG rated in the four path, pressed the pace through the far turn, lost ground when exiting the turn but was able to improve for second in the stretch. FROSTY THE GIANT quickly claimed the lead on the inside to set a pressured pace, gave way at the three sixteenths and held for show. DEWY'S BEAST was the first out of the gate before settling to press the pace from the two path, vied for the lead through the far turn before weakening in the final furlong. RUNYONESQUE pinched back to trail shortly after the start, passed tired foe in the stretch. AUGUSTINE RED raced off the pace, never involved.
