STOWAWAY bobbled at the start, stalked the pace on the outside in the three path, was asked with three furlongs to run, chased under the crop into the stretch and proved no match for the winner but out-dueled DRAKE'S PASSAGE for the place. DRAKE'S PASSAGE hit the outside of the gate and stumbled badly at the start, steadied behind a foe early on the first turn, saved ground on that bend, was reserved off the inside on the backstretch, moved closer with about five furlongs to run, went around most of the far turn in the two path, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, shifted to the four path late on that bend, pursued the winner under a drive into upper stretch, battled with the runner-up for the place and missed that position while clear for the show. OLYMPIC DREAMS brushed with a rival at the start then angled in while hustled, saved ground on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, raced inside on the far turn, was given his cue inside the three-eighths pole, chased into the stretch and came up empty. SHERIFF BIANCO was sent hard from the gate, lost position badly while taken in hand when a foe crossed in front early on the first turn, shifted from the two path to the four path on that bend, moved up entering the backstretch then settled on the outside, was urged along outside the half-mile pole, moved from the four path to the five path on the far turn and faltered. ELIMINATE bobbled at the start then brushed with an opponent, raced in the three then four path on the first turn, settled at the rear, was roused in the five then six path on the far turn and failed to respond.
