Chart notes
DANCE STEP set the pace with a narrow advantage down the backstretch, dropped back a bit on the turn, came on again under right handed urging to regained the lead before the furlong marker, dueled to the wire with the runner up and proved best in a game effort. NOT TODAY pressured the winner two wide down the backstretch, made the lead at the turn, dug in under right handed urging when challenged by that one and just missed. CHESS NOT CHECKERS settled five wide down the backstretch, moved closer four wide before the quarter pole then leveled off. TAKING CHARGE DESI stalked the pace three and four wide and went evenly. DROPPING LEMONS had good early speed three wide and was through after a half. DATTTSAFANCYFOX had brief speed.
