Chart notes
VULCAN'S BOOTS prompt the early leader from the outside, took command nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late under strong handling. RAMBLIN stalked the pace from the outside of rivals, raced four wide into the upper stretch and finished gamely to the wire. BEYBE BETO broke sharply to the outside, rated along the inside, raced in tight quarters between near the eighth pole and kept on gamely to the wire racing from the inside. EL OREJON set all the pace along the inside and weakened through the drive. TISUM raced off the early pace setters, swung five wide into the lane and lacked a rally. TRAPPED IN TIME (IRE) was off slowly, saved ground and trailed.
