Chart notes
CHARLES BODIE set the pace, was under pressure late and held on gamely. STAR STAR STAR raced mid pack, rallied into the second turn, bid five wide entering the stretch, closed steadily and was gaining late. TOP NOTCH PROTOCOL broke in, stalked the pace, rallied on the turn, bid three wide, closed steadily and was outfinished in a good effort. METAIRIE broke slowly and was crowded at the start, was unhurried early, advanced along the inside to the second turn, bid off the rail and finished well. HE'S READY TO WIN was unhurried early, angled out in the upper stretch and found his best stride late. MY SPECIAL STAR veered in at the start, raced close to the pace along the inside, bid on the rail leaving the turn and came up empty. GIVE ME A TRY was checked repeatedly into the first turn, raced outside and showed little. WHO IS CHIEF was hustled along, stalked the pace to the second turn, tired and stopped.
