Chart notes
FAST JACK , three deep early, emerged in a duel outside LUNDBERG past the five eighths, moved to command under a light hold mid turn, asserted himself when put to a ride soon into the lane and eagerly drew out while kept to task. WILDWOOD SICILIAN had speed inside a pair of foes then rated back off the leaders after a furlong, remained inside leaving the far turn, eased out three wide under a ride into the stretch, straightened away, chased on while on his left lead and kept on gamely for the place. CORTESE stalked outside a foe nearing the half, circled four wide into the stretch, chased past mid stretch then flattened out late. LUNDBERG had speed between foes, secured the inside past the five eighths and dueled, could not keep pace with the winner leaving the three sixteenths, pursued to the sixteenth pole then faded. TWIRLING ROSES , off the pace and off the inside, came four wide for the drive but failed to menace.
