Chart notes
COUNTY SLUGGER set a presserured pace throughout, responded well turning for home to repel the presser, dug-in wwhne engaged by the runner-up in upper stretch, drifted out to come together with that one midway down the lane, exchanged bumps while dueling the the wire and prevailed on the line. HOLLYWOODBOULEVARD tracked the leaders for the first five-eighths, rallied four wide on the far turn to challenge in upper stretch, was bumped initially in mid-stretch by the drifting winner, exchanged bumps down the lane repeatedly while leanintg in on COUNTRY SLUGGER and was denied in the final strides. TAPS MISTRESS pressed the pace from the fence for three-quarters, could not match the winner turning for home and finished willingly as best of the rest while outkicked by the top pair. HOLIDAY PRESENCE trailed in the early going, progressed passed weaker rivals through the final turn and finished with a late gain. TELEKINETIC went evenly as a non-factor. KARSON KAY broke a step slow, raced up five wide to prompt the early pace and was through early galloping home. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY AND OBJECTION REGARDING THE STRETCH RUN OF THE TOP PAIR, UPON REVEIW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
